Privacy notice and credits

What happens to the details you send us, in plain language.

Draft for client review. This notice describes how this website works today. JAP’s legal entity details, contact address for privacy requests, retention periods and final wording still need JAP’s approval and a legal check (South Africa’s POPIA, and the GDPR for visitors from the UK and EU).

Who we are

JAP Shuttles & Tours, a private tour and transfer operator in Cape Town, South Africa. Registered name and address: awaiting confirmation.

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry we ask for your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (when you prefer to be contacted that way), your preferred contact method, and the details of your trip: the tour or transfer, dates and times, number of adults and children, children’s ages for child seats, pickup and drop-off points, flight number for airport arrivals, luggage and any notes you add.

We use these details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and arrange the services you ask for. You choose what to share, and you confirm your agreement with a checkbox before sending.

Where your enquiry goes

Enquiries are stored securely in a database and emailed to JAP’s team so they can reply. When the live enquiry system is switched on, enquiries are stored in a database and emailed to JAP. The hosting and email providers are awaiting confirmation and will be named here before launch.
